What is BBB?
Ballet Beyond Borders is a Festival that provides a cultural, educational and diplomatic exchange to further human understanding and spark vital communication. BBB presents classical ballet and all genres of dance from Folkloric and Native American cultures with indigenous nations of Africa and South America, hip-hop, tap and contemporary choreography.

What categories can I compete in?
Classical Ballet
Contemporary
Young Choreographer (If age 30 or younger)
Open category that includes all genres of cultural dances, hip hop and tap.
What if I want to compete in more than one category?
When you fill out the registration form, make sure you mark all the categories you wish to compete in. It is an extra $50 per category. If you already registered for one category but would like to add another category just email us bbb@rmbt.org
What are the age categories?
Children: 6-9
Student: 10-12
Junior: 13-15
Senior: 16-18
Professional: 19+
How do I register?
Registration is on the rule and registration page of the website. Please make sure you read and understand all the rules before registering.

Do I have to compete in classical and contemporary?
No. Classical and Contemporary different categories. If you would like to compete in both it is an additional $50

Day 2: semifinals continue
Day 3: finals
Day 4: Creative Crossroads Diplomacy Conference, Award Ceremony and Gala Finale

Do I need to buy a ticket to the gala?
Competitors do not need to buy a ticket to the gala, your badge will get you in. Other family members must buy a ticket.
How do I find out if I go to the finals?
It will be posted on the BBB Facebook Page, on the website in News and an email will be sent out.
When are finals?
Finals are on Day 3 of BBB. Make sure you are available for All 4 days of BBB in case you make it to the finals.

When do I compete?
There will be a posted order prior to the competition with approximate times of each category.
How do I purchase gala tickets?
If you are a competitor you do not need to purchase tickets. If you are purchasing tickets for a non-competitor, the information for the gala will be available on the BBB GALA PAGE when the information is available.
